Who do these people think they are fighting for us - the consumers?  Like we don't know what we're eating or drinking is fattening?  Sounds like they are calling me stupid.  You know where they can shove their law suit.

Peanut Butter & Jelly

What is it with peanut butter and jelly?  I'm not a big eater of probably THE most popular sandwhich but I've had 3 in the last week or so.  They are quick and easy and my favorite - cheap.

Starbucks vs McDonald's breakfast sandwiches

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Starbucks makes AWESOME coffee and terrible food.  Their food is way too heavy.

Detroit has only five Starbucks stores

It's not much better in the burbs either.  The closest one to my house is inside Kroger a few miles away.  When we visited my in-laws in Vegas and my parents in Texas - I was jealous that they have Starbucks everywhere and even with drive-thru windows.  :o(

No bananas?

How can bananas just disappear?  Yes, I realize that things do just become extinct but bananas?  No banana splits, sliced bananas in cereal, banana nut bread - this just can't happen!

M&M Math

I don't know about this "math" and M&M's but I do know that there always seems to be a lot more brown M&M's than any other color in the package.

Pumpkin Pie Fritter

My family know that I LOVE pumpkin pie - however - I only eat it at Thanksgiving and maybe Christmas.  It seems odd to eat it any other time of year.  I can't wait to try this pumpkin pie fritter recipe though - since it's not actually pie - I can see myself enjoy it even in the summer.

Trader Joe's

We just got a Trader Joe's sometime before Christmas.  I've never been in there so I don't know what all of the fuss is about.  From the sound of it, they sell weird foods.  I did promise to take my daughter in (she digs the pirate motif) so I guess I will find out what all of the hoopla is about.
