Motherhood Changes You

Us mom's know that sometimes motherhood changes you - makes you crazy at times.  I love this article and can sympathize totally.  I can also see the store's point of view - I'm sure those carts don't come cheap and don't want them stolen.  Better idea is to use your car seat in the cart - assuming their carts are like ours here in the states.  While we're on carts - did you know that for every cart you see on the side of the road or anywhere other than the store it costs that company at least $400 to replace it?  That's a lot of dough.  When we lived in California I would see carts all over the place and see people walking them down the street.  ???

Thanksgiving Overload

I think this bird had too much seed for Thanksgiving.  I would have liked to see it attempt to fly away.  :o)

Gamers Christmas Gear

OMG!!!  I LOVE Q-bert!!  I was good at it too.  I would look stupid in this shirt though so I will have to rely on my memories.  :o)

All out of "nice"

I applaud Kristen for letting it all hang out.  Don't we all have these same thoughts?  I often find that being "nice" , all the time, is extremely tiring don't you?

Vibrating Soap

Soap that vibrates?  I wasn't sure what category to put this one in, there may be some adult out there who would get a kick out of this.  I see a stocking stuffer!

When should kids stay home?

All parents have come across the question, "should my kid stay home today?"  Most of the time it is an easy decision - fever, vomiting, etc.  It gets tough when you start talking runny noses and teary eyes.  The schools around here don't want the kids to come if their noses are runny - the problem with that is when you live in a cold climate like we do, infants and toddlers ALWAYS have runny noses.  I think there are 2 kinds of parents on this issue.  Those who put their kids first and those who don't.

Cats on Attack

We were thinking of getting another cat.  We have one that is about 10 or 11 years old and is pretty easy going but after seeing these pics.  What a great shot!!

School Bus Injuries

I totally believe this report on school bus injuries.  Just the other day my daughter said she hit her head when the bus hit a bump.
