It makes sense to me that Starbucks would try selling breakfast sandwhiches.  The people are already there in the AM so why not?   I'm not one for breakfast and especially buying it but if I were to, McDonald's sausage and egg mcmuffin is my fave.

Teens & Clothes - Too Sexy?

My daughter and I have been having the timeless mother-daughter clothing arguments here and there this past year.  Our main problem has been with skirts.  All of her skirts are too short - they are barely school legal and even then it's because she pulls them down as far as possible.  The problem isn't with my daughter, it's with the people designing and producing these clothes.  We have scoured the stores looking for skirts that aren't too short or too long.  So far we haven't found anything that works or if we have the price was outrageous.  As far as the provocative t-shirts, we have a couple that are very mild and have only been worn a few times in 2 years.  This year her school has added them to the "don't wear" category. 

Labradoodles

Wow.  Does anyone else find it strange for a Poodle and Lab to breed?  Weird mental image.  Still, I can't help but awe over these cute faces.  I went to a couple of websites and noticed that the adult Labradoodles are not as cute as the baby ones.

I love stamps.  Not the boring flag ones - although that's what I'm using at the moment.  Here is a look at my latest love from Disney.

HipPop Pet Owl

Oh, how cute!!  I want a HipPop Pet Owl!  I think it would be a lot of fun - for about an hour or so and then I'd be over it.  :o)

School Lunches

I have been disgusted with public school lunches since I was in school.  I'm not a health nut (far from it) but I do have a HUGE problem with the kinds of foods served.  Here are a couple of examples of what our school system considers an appropriate lunch:  Mozzarella cheese sticks (main dish!) Italian bread sticks - basically cheese bread (main dish!)  mac & cheese, corn and sherbet - starch, starch & sugar.  Anyone find these healthy?   

Tickle Me Elmo

I have 2 daughters (5 years apart in age) who are each claiming our Tickle Me Elmo as thiers.  He "belongs" to my oldest daughter but she never played with him so it was given to my youngest many years ago.  He's been in the closet for years and was recently brought out.  My oldest laid claim to him again but that didn't sit will with the youngest simply because if her sister wanted it, she wanted it.  My oldest had Elmo for a few weeks but when I was putting some stuff away in my youngest's closet - I saw Elmo crammed in the bottom - she was hiding it!  Too funny.  So, Elmo is back in the closet and no one is using him.  Poor Elmo. 

Vintage Wedding Dresses

It is fun to look at the different styles of dresses women have worn on their wedding day over the past century.  This one is hysterical though.  I sure hope there were double doors for her to walk through or it was an outdoor ceremony. 

NO Spinach!!

The good news is - you, Seth, know who to go to if (and I really hope you don't) you get sick from your spinach.  Please don't eat the spinach!!  As for the bottle incident, I really wish you could have chased him down and threw it back at him.  Sounds like a punk.  He obviously didn't know who he was chucking his trash at - or did he?  LOL.  Just kidding.

Striped Kittens?!!!

This pic is GREAT!!  Who wouldn't want to hold a cute, fluffy, black and white kitten?  Leave it to kids to bring home the cute.  I hope the mom was nowhere in sight.  LOL.
