Well we all know from watching "Sweet Home Alabama" that lightening can make glass when striking sand.  I like the outerspace theory better though.  What are the odds of someone finding that piece of glass and then it ending up on the Pharaoh?

About a funeral

This is a nice story and one I'm not looking forward to duplicating (but will at some point).  I have already explained to my daughter that Gerbils don't live more than a couple of years.  Of course knowing that won't help when it happens. 

Why not to live in Florida

We lived in Florida for 6 months.  I HATED it.  It is a very pretty place to live but the humidity and heat got really old.  Not to mention the crazy old people drivers.  So many people live along canals and have no fences to keep things like this from happening.  How can you raise kids in this kind of environment?   Sorry Johnny, you can't go outside - you may get eaten.  People are stupid.

Experts Push Breastfeeding

Well, that shows how well I pay attention to what the commercial is about.  I've seen both and didn't know they were about breast feeding.  I personally breast fed both of my daughters until around 6 months (their choice).  I also had the ability to do so because I didn't work outside the home.  I can see how hard it would be on women who have to work.  Breast feeding would be almost impossible and a huge headache.  There is also the pain factor.  My second daughter about killed me during the first few weeks.  That alone would make most women stop - I almost did.  I have VERY healthy kids and I don't take that for granted so I'm glad I stuck to it.  I dont' however think that it is anyone's place to tell women what is right for them.
