Pervert buys girls' virginity

It's a really sad state of affairs when a guy can convince a multitude of girls to have sex with him in exchange for a bit of money.  We're not talking girls and prostitution - this guy only wanted virgins so it was a one time deal for the girls.  Sick, very sick.  I feel for the parents of these girls and I hope some day the girls realize how stupid they were.

These seem like odd titles to start with.  It would make sense if it were Easter and they sold Velveteen Rabbit but not just because.  I don't think they will make the $ they think they will.

Pimple Zapper

This pimple zapper is supposed to get rid of blemishes by using heat.  I'm not sure how that is but it may be worth 8.5 minutes of time to give it a try. 

The Womens' Movement

This is a great time line of the history of the Women's Movement or Sufferage if you prefer.  I plan to look this over again but with my daughter.  It seems odd that we don't give more thought to these early women especially since the movement wasn't that long ago in our history.

Casinos and Carpets

What a crack up!  I too have noticed the carpets in casinos - just never thought to take a pic of them.  LOL.  I'm not a gambler so all I have to do is stand around and observe while the others play.  It seemed amazing that they could some how find the world's ugliest carpet and so much of it.

More on gerbils

Being new to the world of gerbils we are still learning about them.  So far they have been great except for all of the pooping and trying to look for an escape route.  Look at these cute faces.

Detroit has only five Starbucks stores

It's not much better in the burbs either.  The closest one to my house is inside Kroger a few miles away.  When we visited my in-laws in Vegas and my parents in Texas - I was jealous that they have Starbucks everywhere and even with drive-thru windows.  :o(

Eco-Friendly Acorn Urn

I think this acorn urn is a good idea.  I have heard that cremations can be just as costly as funerals - not sure if that is true or not.  If a loved one wanted to be cremated- I would have a lot less of a problem getting one of these than having them sit on the fireplace for the rest of MY life.  I find that REALLY creepy.
